Overview
Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine was founded in 2014 as part of the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) system, established to address physician shortages in Arkansas and surrounding states. It became the state's first osteopathic medical school, admitting its inaugural class in 2017, and quickly earned full accreditation from the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation.
