Overview
Edgewood College was founded in 1927 by the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa on the historic Edgewood estate overlooking Lake Wingra in Madison, Wisconsin. Rooted in Dominican values of truth, compassion, justice, partnership, and community, the college grew from a women's normal school into a coeducational institution offering undergraduate and graduate degrees. It is best known for its strong nursing, education, and business programs, as well as its intimate, values-driven learning environment.
