Overview
Founded in 1920 by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Immaculata University began as a women's college in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and became fully coeducational in 2005. The university holds a distinctive place in collegiate athletics history as the birthplace of women's college basketball success, with its 1970s teams winning early national championships.
