Overview
Founded in 1894 through the merger of two Indianapolis law schools, Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law is the largest law school in Indiana and one of the oldest continuously operating law schools in the country. Renamed in 2008 in honor of alumnus and philanthropist Robert H. McKinney, the school has built a reputation for producing practice-ready graduates through robust clinical, externship, and pro bono opportunities. It is particularly well regarded for health law, intellectual property law, and its part-time evening J.D. program, one of the few of its kind in the nation.
