Overview
LECOM Bradenton was established in 2004 as the Florida branch campus of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, originally founded in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1992. The campus was created to expand access to osteopathic medical education and to address physician shortages, particularly in primary care and rural or underserved areas.
