Overview
Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law was established in 2009 as the law school of Lincoln Memorial University, reviving a legal education tradition in Knoxville that traces back to an earlier law school founded in the early 20th century. Named for the Duncan family, prominent East Tennessee political figures, the school gained full ABA accreditation in 2014 after an initial period of provisional status.
