Overview
Founded in 2007 as part of Lincoln Memorial University, DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine was established to address the critical shortage of physicians in rural and medically underserved regions, particularly in Appalachia. Named after benefactors Dr. and Mrs. Ray L. DeBusk, the college has grown rapidly to become one of the larger osteopathic medical programs in the country, emphasizing primary care training and community-based clinical experiences. It is fully accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA).
