Overview
Founded in 1930 as the Jackson School of Law and later affiliated with Mississippi College in 1975, MC Law is the only law school in the Jackson metropolitan area and one of two law schools in Mississippi. The school has built a reputation for producing practice-ready graduates, with particular strength in trial advocacy, litigation, and public service law. It maintains strong ties to the state's legal community, judiciary, and legislature, with many graduates going on to serve as judges, prosecutors, and elected officials throughout Mississippi.
