Overview
Established in 2016 as a branch campus of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, this Jonesboro, Arkansas location was created specifically to address physician shortages in rural and underserved areas of the Mississippi Delta region and beyond. Located on the campus of Arkansas State University through a collaborative partnership, the college extends NYITCOM's mission of training osteopathic physicians with an emphasis on primary care, rural health, and community-based medicine. It is fully accredited and awards the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree recognized nationwide.
