Founded in 1860, New York Medical College is one of the oldest health sciences universities in the United States. Originally located in Manhattan, the college relocated its main campus to Valhalla, New York, and has since become part of the Touro University System. NYMC is known for its School of Medicine, Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences, and School of Health Sciences and Practice, training generations of physicians, scientists, and public health professionals.
