Overview

Established in 2018, the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine is one of the newest additions to Nova Southeastern University's health professions programs, awarding the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Named after philanthropist Dr. Kiran C. Patel, the college was created to expand physician training capacity in Florida, emphasizing primary care, community health, and service to underserved populations. Though young, it has quickly built accreditation standing with the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and positioned itself as a mission-driven alternative to older established medical schools.
