Overview
Founded in 1891, the Moritz College of Law is the law school of The Ohio State University, one of the nation's largest public research universities. Renamed in 2001 following a major gift from alumnus Michael E. Moritz, the college has built a national reputation for excellence in dispute resolution, criminal law, health law, and civil rights law, consistently ranking among the top public law schools in the country. It is also home to influential legal scholarship centers, including the Program on Dispute Resolution and the Drug Enforcement and Policy Center.
