Pikes Peak State College, formerly known as Pikes Peak Community College, was founded in 1968 to serve the Colorado Springs region with affordable higher education options. Renamed in 2023 to reflect its expanded four-year degree offerings, the institution has grown into one of the largest community colleges in Colorado, serving a diverse student population through multiple campuses and extensive online programming.
