Overview
Rocky Vista University was founded in 2006 in Parker, Colorado as one of the newer osteopathic medical schools established to address physician shortages, particularly in rural and underserved areas of the western United States. The university expanded in 2017 with a second campus in Ivins, Utah, and has grown to become a significant producer of primary care physicians, with strong emphasis on osteopathic manipulative medicine and holistic patient care.
