Overview
Rocky Vista University Southern Utah campus opened in 2023 in Ivins, Utah, as the second campus of Rocky Vista University, which was originally founded in 2006 in Parker, Colorado. The university was established to address physician shortages, particularly in rural and underserved areas of the western United States, and this campus extends that mission specifically into Utah and the surrounding region. As a relatively new institution, it is still building its reputation, but it benefits from RVU's established osteopathic medical curriculum, accreditation, and clinical training network.
