Overview

Roehl Transport, founded in 1962 as a trucking carrier, developed its own driver training program to address the industry-wide shortage of qualified commercial drivers and to create a pipeline of company-loyal talent. Roehl's training model, often called 'Get Your CDL,' combines classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel training, and mentorship, and it became one of the pioneers of the Prime Numbers/Student Driver Placement approach among for-hire carriers. It is best known not as an accredited academic institution but as a vocational, employer-sponsored CDL (Commercial Driver's License) training program with training locations across several U.S. states.
