Overview

Founded in 1993 and granted full ABA accreditation in 1997, Roger Williams University School of Law was established to provide legal education and a source of new attorneys for the state of Rhode Island. As the only law school in Rhode Island, it has built a reputation for accessibility, practical skills training, and a mission-driven focus on public service, particularly through its highly regarded feinstein center for pro bono and experiential education. The school emphasizes experiential learning, clinical work, and bar exam preparation as central pillars of its curriculum.
