Overview
Founded in 1961 as Rutgers Medical School and later renamed in honor of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's support, RWJMS became part of Rutgers University following the 2013 merger with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
