Overview

Founded in 1888 as Sevier Stake Academy, Snow College is one of Utah's oldest and most respected public two-year institutions, located in the small city of Ephraim. Originally established by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before becoming a state institution, Snow College has built a reputation for rigorous academics within a residential community college model, a rarity among two-year schools. It is particularly well known for its performing arts programs, including musical theatre and opera, which have produced graduates who go on to prominent regional and national stages.
