Overview
Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine was established in 2004 as part of the Touro College and University System, a Jewish-sponsored, nonsectarian network of institutions with a mission of service and access to education. Located in Henderson, Nevada, TUNCOM was created to help address the physician shortage in Nevada and the broader Southwest, and has since become one of the region's primary pipelines for training osteopathic physicians. The school emphasizes primary care, rural and underserved medicine, and a holistic approach to patient treatment consistent with osteopathic medical philosophy.
