Founded in 1895, UMKC School of Law is one of the oldest law schools west of the Mississippi River and has built a reputation for producing practice-ready attorneys deeply integrated into the Kansas City legal community. The school is particularly well known for its nationally ranked trial advocacy and dispute resolution programs, as well as its combined degree offerings including a six-year B.A./J.D. program.
