Overview
Founded in 1911, the School of Law is the sole law school in the state of Montana and has long served as the primary pipeline into the state's bench and bar. Renamed in 2013 after a major gift from alumnus Alexander Blewett III, the school built its reputation on strong programs in natural resources and environmental law, Indian law, and trial advocacy, consistently ranking among the top programs nationally in these niche areas.
