Overview
Founded in 1973 as Franklin Pierce Law Center, the school became affiliated with the University of New Hampshire in 2010 and was fully integrated as UNH School of Law in 2015. It built its reputation as a trailblazer in intellectual property law, launching one of the first IP law programs in the country and consistently ranking among the top programs nationally in that specialty. The school is also known for innovative legal education models, including its Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program, which integrates practical training with bar admission requirements.
