Overview
Founded in 1972 as the Antioch School of Law, the institution became part of the University of the District of Columbia in 1986 and was later renamed in honor of David A. Clarke, a civil rights leader and former Chairman of the D.C. Council. The law school has a distinctive mission rooted in social justice, public service, and access to justice for underserved communities.
