Overview
COMP-Northwest was established in 2011 as a satellite campus of Western University of Health Sciences' College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, located in Lebanon, Oregon. It was created to address a shortage of primary care physicians in rural and underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest, offering the same Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) curriculum as the main Pomona, California campus. The program emphasizes humanistic, patient-centered medical education rooted in osteopathic principles and practice.
